She was always going on about how she couldn’t bear another day without a home...and all those stories about the war, about her....never mind. Poor woman lost them all without anyone asking. I don’t know if it was better or worse that she was gone before they came for the last house. The one on Schulhausstrasse... that one had broken her completely...
