Fire, Smoke & Powerful Images | Exclusive Photography Workshop with the “Wizard of Entlebuch”
Two days you won’t get back anytime soon: Nestled amid the untamed wilderness of Entlebuch, legendary nature chef Stefan Wiesner—the ““Wizard of Entlebuch”,” opens his world exclusively to a small group. You won’t just be there—you’ll be right in the thick of it: gathering ingredients in nature, cooking over an open fire, and experiencing the moments in between. This is a rare opportunity to closely document this extraordinary chef through photography and expand your portfolio with authentic, powerful portraits of one of the most fascinating figures in Swiss cuisine. This experience is also one-of-a-kind for foodies, because here you can not only savor Stefan Wiesner’s cuisine but also experience it firsthand in all its archaic intensity. You’ll be accompanied and guided by photographer Olivia Pulver, who will show you how to turn powerful individual images into a captivating photo essay.
2-Day Photography Workshop: Culinary Photography in the Natural Kitchen
Immerse yourself in the world of culinary photojournalism in the heart of the wild nature of the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere Reserve. Over the course of two intensive days, we’ll join the legendary nature chef Stefan Wiesner, among others. He’s known as the “Wizard of Entlebuch” and for his showdown with Tim Mälzer on *Kitchen Impossible*. Stefan Wiesner cooks outdoors on a fire ring and takes us on a journey into his archaic, nature-inspired cuisine. Participants will have the exclusive opportunity to photographically document the charismatic chef for an entire afternoon and create a genuine photo essay from up close.
The workshop will be led by Olivia Pulver. During the photo shoots, she’ll be taking photos alongside you and offering tips and insights into her approach. You can always ask questions right away to ensure you get the best photos for your portfolio.
